location maximises convenience while emphasizing a balance between the academic
and social spheres of life. Toad Hall welcomes postgraduate and mature age
undergraduate students from all cultures.

Toad Hall has 227 single rooms, each with ample storage, a single bed, desk,
desk chair, pin board and cupboard.

Toad Hall is self catered and we provide shared kitchen facilities for you to
prepare your own meals. The cosmopolitan nature of the Hall creates the perfect
environment to improve your culinary skills and sample excellent dishes from
exotic locations.

Your rent includes electricity, heating and water charges.
|
|

|
All rooms have phones with voicemail. Internal University and Hall calls are
free. Local, STD and International calls are billed separately.
|
|

Toad Hall offers a comfortable and well equipped computer room containing 12
computers (PC and Mac). This facility is available 24 hours a day for convenient
use by residents. Each room has a data-port linking directly to the University
IT network. Internet usage is included in the weekly tariff.

Toad Hall is within a 400-metre radius of every service you could ever think
of including three beautiful nature reserves. Toad Hall also has ample secure
bicycle storage.

While Toad Hall does not have tutors, Toad Hall does have a network of Senior
Residents who can advise you on the University’s available academic support
services.
|
|

Toad Hall has a designated music room and students are also welcome to
practice their instruments in one of our many common rooms.
|

Toad Hall has five communal laundries with washing machines and dryers. Usage
is included in the weekly tariff. Residents provide their own laundry
detergent.
|
|

|
A car park is located at the front of the Hall. Residents will need to
purchase a parking permit. Canberra's network of bike paths and public transport
is quite good so we encourage residents to save money and not bring a car.
|
|

|
Students are responsible for cleaning their own rooms. Toad Hall is a green
Hall and takes issues like recycling and resource conservation very seriously.

Smoking is prohibited in all University buildings. Designated smoking areas
are located outside.
|
